Little Moulsham, My main venue for 2012.

The River Kennet, Some lovely Barbel swim there.

I stared Barbel fishing last year, thanks to a good mate showing me the way, and this was the best of a brace , just over 9lbs, I've gone on to take fish up to 11.3lbs, looking forward to a few more trips to the river.

It dont have to be the biggest, just the fun of catching the fish makes it worth while.

A good days sport, with the smaller fish

First fish of 2012 was 1st of Jan, and a Bream, but at least  I had something for a  cold days fishing.
1 or 2 of these is fine, but when they move in....
